My ONE AND ONLY REPORT ON CORPORAL PUNISHMENTS

Corporal punishment is pain, and suffering intend to change a person's behavior. I think schools should not have punishments like that. I think that there is no reason for children to be getting hit in school. School is to learn not to be beating a child to do the correct thing.

Long ago in different country's the governors use to allow for schools to have corporal punishments.In most European countries it was banned at varying points in the 20Th century. On the other hand, school corporal punishment, though probably on the decline overall, is lawful and remains in use in various other parts of the world. Yes it is bad for the child to get hit but people think it is called discipline.

Corporal punishment is still widely used by parents in there homes, though it has been banned in over seventeen countries. In 1977, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Ingraham v. Wright, that schools may use corporal punishment despite parental objection. Prior to that ruling, there were few, if any, state statutes regulating the use of physical means of discipline in schools. After the decision, states began to address the issue. At present, twenty-five states have statutes covering corporal punishment.

Even though corporal punishments is banned. There are still other country's that use it. I know that no parents want there child getting, when they come from school crying and complaining, but some parents allowed that back than.Corporal punishments which involves slaps or blows to the head is harmful.Well yes if a teacher looses his or her patients and just hits the child that only because, they are bad teachers.In country;s like D.R, Trinidad and Tobago, will tell you to put your hands out and hit you real hard with a ruler.

I learned a lot about corporal punishments it is very interesting.I hope that in the future people will forget about corporal punishments and for once they will stop hitting the children.
